I am a photographer working across Northeast India and the Himalayan region, focusing on place, people, and lived culture. My work grows from time spent on the ground – listening, observing, and returning – to understand how land and identity shape everyday life.
Moving between long-term, immersive projects and shorter impact-driven stories, I photograph communities and landscapes with care and intention. At the centre of my practice is a quiet attention to nature, culture, and the relationships that hold them together.
Places speak in layers – through land, memory, and the lives shaped by them. I am drawn to these quiet conversations, to what reveals itself slowly when one stays long enough to listen.
