Landscape
At over 4500 metres in the Changthang plateau, Tsomoriri is one of the highest lakes in the world – a body of water that changes character entirely with the seasons. Frozen and silent in winter, alive with migratory birds in summer, stripped bare by autumn winds.
This series is an attempt to document that change, the same place, returning different every time.
These photographs are an attempt to hold that stillness, to find the character of a place in its light, its weather, and its unhurried scale.
